Ray Price sings his MEGA HIT “For The Good Times” on Marty Robbins Spotlight

Ray Price is best known for us country classics, including, “Release Me,” “Crazy Arms,” and, “For The Good Times.”

Price earned numerous accolades throughout his career, inducing 62 albums that earned Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and Grammy Awards. In 1966 he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. 

Ray Price was born on a farm near the small community of Peach, near in Wood County, Texas on January 12, 1926. Ray Price was 87 years old when he passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013. In his final message to his fans, he said, “I love my fans and have devoted my life to reaching out to them. I appreciate their support all these years and I hope I haven’t let them down. I am at peace. I love Jesus. I’m going to be just fine. Don’t worry about me. I’ll see you again one day.”
